I have a 9600 card and other people found the same problem. That if
you turn your LCD Monitor on before starting your computer up it will
not start when using the DVI output Ok running in the anlog mode. I am
running a ASUS K8V with a AMD 3200 + chip. My question is has any
found a fix or if I upgrade to a 9800 will I still have the same
problem.

My 'flat panel' may not count as it is a Samsung HLN-507W DLP TV with a
DVI input. Many times the TV is on before I start the computer with no
initialization problem. BTW its an Athlon 3000 on a Gigabyte mobo with
a built-by ATI 9600 pro and an HDTV Wonder.
