ATI hotkey poller

found "ATI hotkey poller" in services whilst trying to fix XP home shutdown
problem. Is this a proper service or not? No description is given as with all
other services.

Do you have an ATI video card. Did you check the file properties.

Hi David, Yes i have a Radion X300, yes i checked the properties but no real
info was given except file location "C:\windows\system32\Ati2evxx.exe." the
video card came with the system so i dont think it would be causing me any
problems as shut down problems have only been occuring for 2 months. I have
restored system to original settings but problems still persist. tried the
usual, uninstalling last batches of software but no joy.

So you right click that file in explorer - Properties - Version

I know ati as a hotkey type program (without knowing the details).

If one has a problem one should specify that problem.
