ATI Clearance X800 Crossfire $99

ATI has the X800 Crossfire edition on clearance for $99. The documentation
seems a bit strange since it says this card has 16 pipelines. I thought
only the XT had 16 pipelines. Doesn't say anything about GPU or RAM speed.
Just wondering if this might be a good deal.

Seems like a pretty good price then right? Should be nearly as fast as a
6800 ultra. So this card should run fine by itself on a non crossfire
motherboard? I do wonder when the website says this card requires no
additional external power. I thought the 800XT had a molex connector on it.
Can't imagine this thing getting enough juice just from the AGP slot.

It should be faster than the 6800 Ultra in most games, with current Catalyst
drivers.

Yep.

The web site is incorrect. That, or it's actually advertising a lesser card
(like perhaps the X800GTO) by mistake. If you intend to buy, call and make
sure it's the X800XT CF Ed.; get the p/n and look it up on Google.

It obviously doesn't fit in an AGP slot, though I don't think the PCIe slot
can supply the required juice, either.
