ATI All in Wonder

If only ATI could just write one driver package that took care of it all for
you, wouldn't that be an exquisite miracle?

It's Xmas Theo. It's the time for miracles.

Most of the TV tuner cards I've looked at won't display on the second
monitor of a dual monitor setup - almost no matter which video card you use.
We've had real problems with tv-wonderVE and radeon VE dual display card
causing crashes. Tried Matrox G450 - no display on second screen. Tried
Matrox P650 - same problem. Tried 3 other TV cards - same problems. It's a
Direct Draw thing, apparently. So the AIW 9600 is very appealing, as it
integrates all the functions, and presumably has no difficulties displaying
TV on either output.

FWIW, the wife uses a Matrox G550 dualhead card and she was able to watch TV
on either monitor when using a USB Hauppauge WinTV USB. It used some "XP
Only" overlay mode that I can't remember now. If Hauppauge can do it, why
can't the other TV tuners do it?
