Athlon 1.0G vs Duron 1.6G

I have two AMD chip put into a motherboard.
I wonder if Athlon 1.0G cpu is better than Duron 1.6G.
Athlon is better chip that duron. Does Athlon 1.0G better
than Duron 1.6G?

On average a Duron would be 80% the performance of an Athlon at the same
speed. Therefore a 1.6Ghz Duron would be like a 1.3Ghz Athlon. I'd go
with the Duron.
