ASUS P5RD1-V ???S

As per earlier post I changed to s-3 to get fans to turn off when in stand
by. Power light flashes in stand by ok , but when it is taken out of standby
the power light keeps flashing . What settings under power do I need to get
the light to go back to steady on and keep the fans off during stand by.
I think that I have tried ever different setting under power.

That could be a bug in the BIOS. Contact Asus Tech support by
phone and see if they know about that bug. Reporting the bug
will speed up its correction. (Asus may not have source for
that code, and the bug may actually be in a third-party module.
It may take a while for it to be fixed.) If you aren't running
the latest Beta BIOS, perhaps that will fix it.
