Asus or MSI???

Hi,

i cannot decide between a Asus A8N SLI and a MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum.
I need 3 PCI Slots so on the MSI i would have one left for future
upgrades, but i've used Asus for the last 13 years and i'm very
pleased so far.

Any help welcomed.

Thanks

from what I have read..the MSI is rated better in terms of configuring for
an OC...Asus and MSI are rated pretty much the top 2 in this series so
choosing either would not cause disappointment. I have 3 Asus boards now and
my next build will be based on the Neo4.

Asus boards are made with higher quality parts, and as a result cost more,
but are worth it over the long term.

MSI (UK) dont do warranty returns at all
MSI (US) do not allow UK motherboards to be sent to them for repair (Cause
they have a division in the UK).

If you live in the US then I guess MSI might be an okay choice, If you live
in the UK then I'd say dont dare touch them.

Another quick note also.. Asus Tiwan refused to repair it cause they said
the problem would not be the mother board (when I gave fault descriptions)..
I replaced the MSI board with an ASUS one and that system has ran now for a
few years. The MSI board has been repair'd since and I do find it a good
board but I will NEVER buy a MSI shelf product again (unless I can get the
board for 5£)
