Asus Notebook

I have renovated an old Asus L7300/L7200 notebook and installed XP Pro.It
runs a bit slow but is OK apart from that except there is no sound.I have
found some video/audio drivers from a download site but they are for
98SE.Has anyone any opinions as to whether these will work or at least won't
crash it.?

I tried a search on L7 here:
