Assembly Security

Hello,

I have a compiled assembly (.dll) that I'd like to protect so that someone
can't copy the dll and then reference/use it in their own applications.

Is there a way to restrict which assemblies can use this assembly of mine?

I was wondering how exactly this would be accomplished?

If you could please explain / direct me to some resources that would be
great!
