ASP.NET Web App

I am using VB.Net. When I want to open a ASP.NET Web application, an error
message 'Your web server is not running ASP.NET 1.1. You cannot run ASP.NET
Web application or service'. How to install ASP.NET 1.1. I am using XP Prof
with SP1.

Happened to me after i had installet ActiveSyc 7.1
I was developing my ASP dotnet application on an external server.
The answer was buryed deep in the microsoft help pages:
Reinstall Dot Net! So if your problem is like mine, spend an hour
reinstalling dot net.

I ussume you have IIS installed on the server?
