Asp.net sp1 and ssl and postback

we have a simple asp.net form that works fine when using normal http:// but
when we use ssl https:// the form doesnt submit/postback. Anyone know how
to resolve this? We have the aspnet_client folder and the directory has all
of the proper perms.
 
As a note, this same code does work fine using netscape and or firefox.
