not sure exactly what you are looking for. go to www.sourceforge.net and
look at the cvs projects. there are vs addins, c# api's, iis hosting, web
client, sourcesafe to cvs convertors, etc.
Sorry that I wasn't clear enough. I'm developing a collaborative web site
where a large group of developers can work remotely and be more productive.
One of the desires is to have some type of souce code versioning system
installed or built so that a developer can checkin a piece of code and other
developers can checkout the file and modify it and check it back in. And
there's a need to support branching. I'm trying to see here if anyone has
had any experiences trying to do this. And if there are any suggestions or
hints on how to get started with this. I'm developing the site in ASP.NET.
Thanks.
Just to clarify again....the users of the site would login to the site and
there would be a version control system (this is what I'm looking for info
about) on the ASP.NET web site. Is there anything like this out there?
We will ship Visual SourceSafe 2005, which will include enhancements such as
remote Web access over HTTP, a LAN performance booster, Unicode and XML
support, and regional time zones and language support. For more information,
see Visual SourceSafe Roadmap.
