I've just installed Microsoft.net.framework 1.1 and 2.0 during some Windows
updates, and of course this has affected start up in that I get a log on
screen because there is a new account in "User Accounts." I know that I
can simply delete that account and both .net frameworks remain in there for
applications that need to make use of them, which is why I installed them !
....and that I won't get the logon screen again because I'll be back to just
one administrator account - mine - on a stand alone machine.
When I got to Control Panel | "User Accounts" and select the account
"ASP.NET Machine A...'s" account and click on "Delete the account," I get
asked, do I want the files save the files associated with the account to the
desktop," or something similar. So, do I need to save them, what are they
for, and why is the nuisance account created in the first place ?
TIA
