asp form with email hyperlink?

I am using some ASP pages to list and generate a calendar for our group
events. As part of that, the director lists his email address.

When the asp page lists the events, his email address shows up with the
hyperlink but when you click on it, I get an error message "this action not
allowed"

How or what code do I need to change or add to get an email link to him open
up?
