.asp files

Anyone know what programs can open .asp files? Search engines yielded
nothing and i've tried downloading the .NET framework off microsoft update
but so far...nothing.

Notepad or internet explorer. An asp file gets turned into an html (but still called asp) file by the web server. A very basic asp file is identical to an html file. To view it as it is meant to be viewed you will need to install IIS (pro only) and get IIS to serve up the page and view the page with IE.

..asp is an "Active Server Page"
It can be viewed with a browser.
Due to the nature of the file it will be viewed as a normal HTML page unless
it is on the server containing the active part of that page.
