ASP Active Server Pages fail to load in IE6.0.2800.1106 [SP1]

Running W2K 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4. CookiePal 1.7c used w/IE6 for cookie
management. TweakUI

Links to *.asp pages load intermittently or not at all -- see
http://www.peets.com for the best example of a site that basically does not
work at all on my system. Internet Zone security set to default.

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite).
