My company just upgraded to A2002. Why 2002 and not 2003? it's a mystery :-).
Anyway, I use custom menus on my apps, and I've noticed that the "Ask A
Question box" remains visible on my menus.

Does anybody know any way to turn this feature off.

Thanks
Rosco

Here is a past post of mine on this question:
1. Make sure you can see your menu bar on screen.

2. Right-click on it and go to Customize.

3. Right-click directly on the "Type a question for help" box.

4. A box will pop up saying "Show Ask a Question Box" with a check mark.

5. Uncheck that box and then close the customize editor.

Your menu bar should now not show that question box when displayed.

Funny I did a search on this before I posted and came up empty.
Anyway, thanks Jeff. Work like a charm.

You're welcome, glad to help.

I also use custom menus. I've been unable to find the Ask A Question Box. I
followed the Access help with regards to showing and hiding this box. But
when I right click neither "Show...." or "Hide...." appears. There is no
image of the box.

I'm beginning to think that the lack of this box is the reason why the
Min/Max buttons have also disappeared from my maximized forms that use the
custom menu. I've noticed that my custom report menu has this Ask A Question
Box and the min/max buttons show when reports are maximized.

I'd like to test my theory, but I can't find the Ask A Question Box.

Thanks.
