Asian characters appearing in calendar

I have Outlook 2002, and what I think are Asian characters are appearing to
the right of the date on the top of each daily calendar page. Any idea why
and how I can get rid of them?

page. Any idea why and how I can get rid of them?

Click Tools>Options>Calendar Options. Is the box labeled "Enable alternate
calendar" checked? If so, uncheck it.
