ASCII export code help.

I asked for help previously, but did not fully explain. I
need to export a sales invoice as ASCII from a query (or
two if necessary) so that common information such as name,
address01, address02, etc appear in line 1, line 2, line 3
etc (22 lines) then the individual line details from the
query (could be 1 line or 101 lines) in the next 'xx'
amount of lines, then finally common information line by
line such as Nett Total, VAT and Invoice Total. The
common informationh before and after the details needs to
be once only, whereas the details could be 'x' amount of
lines of individual sales items. Any help? Thanks Kev.

Hi Kev,

Roger gave you one good answer. Another possibility would be to set up a
report that contains the data for each invoice and export that as plain
text.

For best results when doing so, install and select the Windows
Generic/Text Only printer driver before creating the report. Format
everything in plain 12 pt font, and make sure that ever vertical
dimension and distance in the report is an exact multiple of 0.125 inch.
