arrows in my outlook message

Hi all. I am using outlook 2003 and word editor to compose my mail messages.
Whenever i compose a new message there would be arrows pointing to the left
for every line. How can i remove those arrows. Thks in advance.

At the beginning, at the end? Do you get them when you hit enter? Do you
see dots when you hit space?

If the answers are 'End, yes and yes', hit control-shift-8.

If not, well, could you be a little more specific?
