Arrowheads in Excel

I have a problem with my excel document. There is an
arrowhead stuck in a cell, and I cannot remove it. There
isnt a line connecting to it so when I try to remove the
arrowhead from the drawing toolbar every option is grayed
out. Any suggestions are appreciated.
 
Are you using xl2002+?

If yes, maybe those arrowheads are error checking symbols:

Tools|options|Error checking tab

turn off/on the ones you want.

(These are usually green in the topleft corner of the cell.)

Or maybe it's comment indicator: Red in the top right corner.
