I wish to place the words "OK" or "NOK" into a cell if the
corresponding values either match or do not match from two columns. e.g

=IF(C3<A3,"NOK","OK")

how can I expand this over the following

=IF(C3:C19<A3:A19,"NOK","OK")

but i only want to know if the corresponding values in the same row
differ i.e it must not compare C3 to A14 for example, only C3<A3, C4<A4
or C5<A5 etc

Select the range, say F3:F19, where you want the formula, type
the formula in the first cell, and press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER rather
than just ENTER.

I tried {=IF(C3:C19<A3:A19,"NOK","OK")} but didn't get the result I
expected, so tried the following formula:

=IF(OR('Line Speed x 3'!C6<'Line Speed x 3'!A6,'Line Speed x
3'!C7<'Line Speed x 3'!A7,'Line Speed x 3'!C8<'Line Speed x 3'!A8,'Line
Speed x 3'!C9<'Line Speed x 3'!A9,'Line Speed x 3'!C10<'Line Speed x
3'!A10,'Line Speed x 3'!C11<'Line Speed x 3'!A11,'Line Speed x
3'!C12<'Line Speed x 3'!A12,'Line Speed x 3'!C13<'Line Speed x
3'!A13,'Line Speed x 3'!C14<'Line Speed x 3'!A14,'Line Speed x
3'!C15<'Line Speed x 3'!A15,'Line Speed x 3'!C16<'Line Speed x

Is there a method of shortening this formula?
