Area graph starting from Y-axis

Hi, I was wondering if anybody could help me, should be somethin
simple. I created a graph with 3 data sets (cash expenses, credit car
expenses and total). The first two are bar graphs and the 'total' i
an area graph. Months are in the x-axis. The problem is: the are
portion is not starting where x would equal zero, there is a ga
between the area portion and the y-axis line. How do I fix that?

Thanks.

Right-click on the x-axis, select Format Axis..., on the Scale tab, untick
'Value (Y) axis crosses between categories'.

I did that, but now the first barchart for the month of January is no
showing. Is there a fix for that? Once again thanks.

Mark,

Consider a stacked column chart. Omit the total series. It gives the
visual impression of summing the two series. You can do that by selecting
the area, and pressing Delete. Then right-click the chart, select Chart
Type, and select stacked column (top middle).
