ARE THESE SYMPTOMS OF A VIRUS?

Michael Palmer

After trying to transfer a file w/ P2P networking, a few of my programs
stopped working. When I try to start anything with Java it all just quits.
Also when I start to to try to download the Java program off the net, the
explorer window immediately closes. Is this an obvious virus problem? I have
an updated version of Norton 2005 but it doesn't seem to notice it after a
full system scan. Any thoughts besides haveing to re-formatt my comp?

If you are running WinXP or WinME, you may want to try System Restore. You
can "turn the clock back" to a time before the trouble started. System
Restore can be found in the Windows Help menu and a few other places.
