Why is this an Excel question?

If you look at the fonts in the Windows fonts directory, usually
c:\windows\fonts, you'll see that most of them are copyrighted.

I suggest you do a Google or other search for freeware fonts. You should
find some items that way.

That said, you can certainly create a logo with any font -- just don't
sell it, publish it, or use it for any commercial purpose.

sorry for offtopic thread,
i thought some experienced people may reply. here is a reply i have read in
a forum, which is a little different from yours. do you agree if not tell me
why. thanks.

"All fonts are copyrighted by someone.

Generally, the designer is restricted from reselling the entire font. For
example, in the graphic design program I use, I may use the fonts (unless
otherwise noted in the terms of use) in my designs and of course, I can sell
the designs. What I can't do is offer to send the customer the entire font
along with the finished design.

This is also true of using fonts in writing. I can put what I write on my
web page or sell it to a client, but I can't offer to send the client the
font I used for the writing."
