Are my CPU temp and FAN speeds ok on this New Build??

I just built this computer.
Are these TEMPS and RMP's normal or at least within a safe range?

CPU 44C
MotherBoard 42C
Cpu Fan 3245 RPM
Chasis Fan 2163 RPM

Computer details

400 Watt Case with a rear 80mm ran
Case has a side air-duct
Motherboard ASUS A8S-X Socket 939
CPU AMD Athlon VENICE 3200+ 64Bit 2.0 Ghz
1 Gig DDR 400/3200 Ram
Maxtor 7200RPM 8MB Cache 80GIG Drive
GeForce 6800 GS 256bit/256mB GDDR RAM

Cpu is fine; case is a tad warm for my taste. I'd be looking for ways
to cool the case off; hard drives don't like heat either. If you have
a front fan slot move the rear fan to the front and see what that
does.

CPU and mainboard both look warm, but nothing to worry too much about. They
are "safe". If your only cooling fan is in the back of the case, you should
add another one in the front of the case, blowing in. -Dave

Enable Cool & Quiet. I have 3700 CPU, cooling fan at 1300, CPU 39C,
motherboard 38C, unless I play 3D game, when it goes up by 5C.

Is there anything wrong with this setup or the TEMP/ FAN speeds?

Please let me know, thanks to all who reply/read this.

You are fine, but another fan to cool the board wouldn't hurt. Nor
would heat sinks on your RAM and video RAM hurt anything.

Don't let too much dust accumulate inside the case. I just
refurbished a cast-off computer that had a ruined video card because
the owner allowed dust to clog the fan, and then took the entire box
to the landfill as junk.

Why not buy a $10 fan to put into the side intake? (blowing in).

your case temp being higher than the average could be the lack of
organization of the cabling (ribbons being the worst offender). You didn't
mention if that HD was a sata or not.

Is there a grill in front of your rear exhaust fan? the 'hole' punch type?
try and remove it

is this rig i' in ' a cabinet? whats the room temp like?

The side air duct sits over the CPU fan, and it is a 'puller'? The fan draws
outside air in?

If this i so, I would say your CPU is high , again ambient temp is
important.

digisol

Temps on board show a poor case airflow, while CPU is not hot it coul
be better, that depends on thermal paste used, HS, and all othe
cooling fans

Add a blowhole, that may fix it by close to 8 deg C also increase fa
speed slightly in all areas of the case
