are enhanced meta files supported

im using frontpage 2003 an i have alot of .wmf graphics. but if i want to
edit colors i use adobe illistrator. when i export from illistrator i can
save them back to .wmf, i have to save them as .emf, enhanced meta file. can
i set up frontpage to support .emf?

It is not a matter of FP support them, it is the browsers that need to support them in order to
display them, currently the standard image formats for use on the internet is GIF, JPG, PNG.

If FP can read them, it would be to convert them to one of the above formats.

I have a disc with 800,000 images an most are vector graphics an i can load
them into adobe illistrator an edit the colors . but when i save or export
them from illistrator i cant save them back as .WMF. i have to save them as
..EMF. and when i try to insert the image into frontpage it doesnt show the
file in the folder as to say frontpage cant read the file. if the image has a
transparent backround an i edit the colors i have to save as JPEG an then its
nolonger transparent . it becomes rastered.

You would have to save the image as either GIF or PNG to have a transparent background. The CD with
the 800,000 image should have included an application to save the files in different formats.
