Are 2007 continuous forms always ugly and stripey?

Not easily, but it's possible. You'll need to locate a copy of WinHelp.exe
which doesn't come with Vista.

Are you talking about the alternating row color?
If so, you can remove that by going to the Form Property Sheet.

Hmm. And, all along, my clients thought those were prison stripes because
Access 2007 hadn't had time for a change of clothes since escaping. <GRIN>
