Archiving in Outlook

I've archived my Outlook folders once, thereby creating the only archive.pst
file I have. When I archive my folders again does Outlook overridde the
existing pst file or does it perform incremental archiving, whereby
changes/additions/deletions are captured leaving everything else intact?
