Archiving email messages into file system folder

I have joined a new company recently. They want to reduce the load on
the exchange servers by offloading messages that were received 30 days
before into a predetermined file system folder (based on the mail box).

I will appreciate any comment on the idea in general, as well as tips
on how to implement it...

This is an ideal question for an Outlook newsgroup. Remember to
state exactly which version of Outlook you use.
