Archive not working Outlook 2003

When attempting to archive any folder, Outlook will
bfiefly indicate that it is archiving, but the messages
are not moved to the archive.pst file. However, the
folder is created within the archive.pst, but the folder
is empty. Why don't the messages within the folder get
archived? I can manually move the messages to the archive
file. The date to archive meets the criteria to move the
messages. What am I missing?

Outlook uses the modified date to select items for archiving. I bet if you
display that folder and add the modified date to the columns, you will see
that the mail does not meet your time specific criteria.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
