Archive Folders

I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2000. My archive.pst is 2,097,136 kb and it is
giving me fits! I have tried to delete entries but I get the following
message: "The file C:\Documents and Settings...Outlook\archive.pst could not
be accessed." I have tried to compact it. I have tried to move files or
folders back to Personal Folders. Does anybody have any ideas?

Yep, you've vastly exceeded the size limit of the file. An Outlook 2000
..PST file has a hard size limit of about 1.6 Gb, after which it corrupts.
Look here for help:

To repair a 2GB Personal Folders or Offline Folders file

Outlook 2003 and later use a different format for the .PST file that has a
much bigger limit.

Thanks for the answer. This stuff is way over my head. I guess I'd better
call my IT guy.
