app's don't start

I have applications that don't start up when they are clicked on.
Specifically, I have been trying to open McAfee VirusScan. I have also
noticed it with "Task Manager" and "RegEdit" too. They will come on the
screen for no more than a second and then disappear.

This is a almost guranteed sign of a virus.I don't know why people continue
to use McAfee?Try an online scan.
