Appointments disappear from Outlook Calender

I have just started using Outlook with my IPhone and Mobile Me. Most (not
all) of the calender items that I enter in Outlook disappear from my Outlook
Calender a short time after being entered (probably after a sync). However.
these items do appear in theIPhone calender and in the list of "appointments
by category" in Outlook. Why?

Thanks for the assist. I'm still not sure what the fix is but I'll check the
Apple site next.
