In Outlook 2007 is there a way to have appointments show up on my calendar
ONLY if I accept the appointment?

I don't want invites to show at all...

No. They'll appear as Tentative until you either accept or decline them.
You can work around it, though, by creating a second calendar and then
insteal of accepting or declining them, click File>Move to Folder and save
them in the second calendar. Then when you want to accept them, move them
to your default calendar. Decline them simply by deleting them.
