Applying View for 1 folder to another folder

Hi,
I have a view for my inbox with different colors for different conditions.
I was wondering how to apply this same view for other mail folders or
subfolders that I created but without having to redefine the view
individually for each folder--that would take a long time.
Tx for any tips that would help me out with this.

Create a new view and define it the way you want it. Then apply that view to
each folder (on first use)

Tx for your reply.
I will give it a whirl.
The only thing is that I created the View using the Organize panel and I am
not quite sure how to replicate that view by creating a new view.
But I will check into it.
I have gone on to your website and was happy to see you have lots of neat
tricks and info there.
The one on using colors with Category (for emails) does not seem to work for
me--I cannot figure out why.
Any chance I can get u to look at my other post regarding it...?

Find the Define Views menu - if you use Outlook 2003, it's Views, Arrange
by, Customize, Define views or show the advanced toolbar and it's at the end
of the views list (all versions).

Copy the view you are using and give it a new name and exit the dialog. Now
select it from either the views menu or the advanced toolbar to apply it to
any folder.

The automatic formatting based on Categories is broken in Outlook 2002; I
should put that up indeed. Thanks! :-)

Organize will only effect the current folder. You can use Diane's method to
quickly copy what you already have. If you want to make changes to that
later on you can use the same method as when you tried to assign a color to
a category; View-> Current View-> Define Views...
