I am sure there's a simple way to achieve this!
I use Office 97 on one machine and Office XP on another.

For a 2005 forecasting exercise is there a simple way to apply a 5%
increase to a cell block showing this years forecast by product by
month ??ie *1.05 to every cell.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi,

Enter 1.05 in a blank cell
Select that cell and Edit > Copy
Select the cells you want to increase by 5%
Edit > Paste Special > Multiply
click Ok

Hope this helps

Put 1.05 in an otherwise empty cell, select it, copy it, highlight the cells you
need to increase, Paste Special, multiply
