Application sharing on home network

I'm pretty much computer illiterate. I'm trying to set up a home network and
have most of it completed, however I can't get an application to share. the
application is microsoft office. is it possible to share applicatiions? If so
how?
 
Unless the application is designed to be shared over a network, you cannot.
Microsoft Office is not designed to be shared over a network.
