Application Permissions

I have a computer that I want people to only be able to access certain
program application (i.e., MS Word and MS Excel). I don't want them to be
able to access anything else on the computer. Can someone tell me how to do
that? I have been looking through XP help files for hours.

Thanks!

Hi,

Installing and running software in WinXP:

If you are running WinXP Pro, then you can use the group policy editor
(gpedit.msc). Otherwise, for Home users, you will have to set permissions
while logged on as administrator in Safe mode:
