application log

Since last installing Windows Updates. Windows 2000 SBS's application log is
overflowing with the following: -

The Open Procedure for service "ASP.NET_2.0.50727" in DLL
"C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_perf.dll" failed.
Performance data for this service will not be available. Status code
returned is data DWORD 0.

I would appreciate some help in resolving this issue....

From a command prompt;

winmgmt /clearadap
winmgmt /resyncperf

may help.

I think you'll get these also if the service is not started. In this case
disable the counters.
