Application Integration with QuickBooks on Vista

I have a Desktop Application that integrates with QuickBooks.
It works fine on Windows XP.
On Vista, the integration with QuickBooks returns a message indicating that
the Company file has been locked. In other words, the integration doesn't
work.

Please Help! I have had to stop marketing my application to Vista users
until I can get this resolved.

What version of Quickbooks? 2006/7 and 8 use Sybase SQL anywhere, and 7
and 8 support Vista. Earlier versions do not officially.

Next have you tried using Process Explorer to see what is getting stuck?

Susan,

It is QuickBooks Premiere 2008 and the VB program uses MS Access as the
backend Database. Also, when I run the program through the VB IDE, it works
perfectly. Once I run the executable, the QuickBooks stuff won't work.

I haven't used Process Explorer yet. I will look into it.

Thanks.
