Application Errors

I receive the following applicatin error each time I start my computer and
therefore cannot open pdf files...any ideas?
reader_SL.exe - Application Error

The application failed to initialize properly (0Xc0000022).

Uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader?

An alternative to Adobe is Foxit.

From what I searched online, it it not a necessary process.

Another fix you cna try is uninstalling Adobe Reader and downloading
the newest version online, which should be 7.05.
