Application error please help

I am getting this message as soon as i login to my user
name of xp home it come up on the desktop and says
avgcc32.exe.application error The instuction
at"0xsf401291"referenced memory of 0x0000004 the memory
could not read.click ok to terminate.

PLease help!

That is the 'control center' of the AVG antivirus program, that gets
loaded on boot to do the background checking of files. Probably the
file is damaged - go to www.grisoft.com and get a fresh download to
install. The other possibility is bad hardware - memory modules; but I
think you would see other troubles as well if that were it
