Application error? Novice XP Pro..

Faulting application acrord32.exe,version 6.0.1.1091,
faulting module acrord32.exe, version 6.0.1, fault
address 0x001ffecc.
Receive the following when trying to open Adobe 6.01

"Initialisation of the font server module failed"
please can anyone help a novice. need basic help many

acrord32.exe is Adobe Acrobat Reader. Your installation of Acrobat Reader
was corrupted. Which is the technical term for 'messed up'. Not to worry:
It's most likely not your fault. Sometimes software just has a bad hair day.

All you need to do is to install Acrobat Reader again. If you didn't save
the installer to your hard disk, you'll have to download it again from the
Adobe web site.

BTW, if you're installing software from the Internet, it's convenient to
store the installers on your hard disk, so you can easily reinstall if you
need be. I keep all my installers in one folder called...well, 'Installers'.
And before you install something, give it the old virus scan.
