Hello All,

I have a (danish) Win XP SP2 on a DELL machine. When I open Internet
Explorer, and look at some sites (fx like www.sony.dk, but it is not the
only one) the IE chrashes.

At the first I thought that it was those many applications (Google toolbar,
and so on) that are making problems, but I noticed that if I open the site
with the mouse arrow being outside the window - nothing happens. As long as
the mouse arrow is outside IE, everytning is fine. As soon as the mouse
moves into the window (no matter from which side), the application chrashes.

I tried un/install: Macromedia Flash, Java, DirectX (was not able to
uninstall it), even the screen and video card driver - no success.

I tried searching on the error number (0x00012a5b), found out that a lot of
people had this error, but could not find a solution.

Any ideas?

The Event Viewer shows the following (se the end of this post).

Thanx in advance!

Regards, Zoran

Hello All,

it was an old 16-bit application (Danish-English dictionary) that was
causing the problems!

Zoran
