Application change when printing from Windows Mail

When I print an email (or anything) when in Windows Mail, my system instantly
switches to another open application. It's as if I pressed "alt+tab" at the
same time as selecting "print." I don't know how to stop this switching and
stay inside Windows Mail.

This only happens when I print from Windows Mail. Printing in Firefox or
Word 2007 causes no such problem.

Does anyone have a fix for this annoyance? Thanks.

In that case until the problem can be sorted, why don't you copy and paste
the emails into a word document and then print?

While that alternative would stop the unplanned application switching from
happening, it would take as much effort to cut/paste/print from Word as to
switch back to Windows Mail. Hopefully, I can find a way to keep the
application switching from occurring. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
Thanks.

Is the other app it switches to always IE?
Like OE before it, Windows Mail uses IE's print engine for printing.

No. I get this, too, and it seems to switch to the last opened window.
Printing is not the only thing that will do this and so far I haven't found
a fix besides the obvious manual one.
