Even though i am using the instsrv.exe it makes a program as a service, but
when i try to run it , it stops with an error.
In the event viewer Service control manager with event id 7000.
the login which is starting the service has log on locally rights.
ANy help is appreciated.

Many times the problem lies in insufficient network rights... Can you be
more detailed about your app and what it is trying to do...

HI Jimmy,
i have admin rights to the system and to the domain.Log on locally rights
to the system.Full permissions to all the disk.
No matter which application i try to start a s a service the same error is
coming up.
I looked in to the examples of resource kit and even MS KB, there is only
one example and that is confusing too. i am trying to do it with registry
editor but even after the changes are made the service startup is giving the
same error.
I even ran the service as a system , admin, or any other other account same
thing. ?

Just to be clear, you did try to change the account that the service is
using to an account with network rights?
