Appearing offline - log in

Strephen

Hi,

Is there some way to log in appearing offline. When I log
in, by the time, I've switched to offline, I've got three
instant messages. What if I block one of my contacts?
Can I still see if they are online which appearing to be
offline? Will they know I've blocked them or do I just
appear offline?

Thanks a lot,

Stephen

Greetings Stephen,

No, currently no version of Messenger has this capability. And yes, if you block one of your
contacts, you will see if they are online, and they will just see you as offline -- they will
not know that you blocked them.

Also, you can however find third-party patches and tools which will allow you to login as
offline, you can find these on http://www.mess.be, look in their download section (more
specifically the 'MSN Messenger Addons, Bots, Tools & Tweaks ' section) for 'JnrzLoader',
'Nega Patch' and others. Keep in mind that these are unsupported and may cause some odd
behavior (also most are for MSN Messenger releases, not Windows Messenger).
