apostrophie and an inverted V when copy/paste

R

RK

When I copy and paste in a cell, I get an apostrophy and or an inverted V
type symbol at the front of the fonts. It is very annoying, but I know there
is a reason, but dont know why.

You have Lotus Transition features enabled.

The ' means left-aligned

The ^ means center-aligned

The " means right-aligned

Disable all these you find under Tools>Options>Transition

Or Button>Excel Options>Advanced.

Scroll to bottom of page and uncheck the options.
