apostrophes and other Punctuation marks appear as symbols in Outlo

Help.

I have Outlook in English & Hebrew. when I type in English all looks fine,
but once sent the Punctuation marks come up as symbols.

can anyone be of help?

Is it all of your punctuation or just the apostrophes and quotation marks?

I think it is commas and apostrophes. I just did a test and this time things
were OK. But my experience is that it reverts back to the symbols.

It may be that you are only seeing the probelm on return emails from certain
email providers. Here's what I did to fix the problem I had of both quotes
and apostrophes being returned to me as "little squares":

1. Open Word and go to Tools>AutoCorrect Options
2. Go to "AutoFormat" tab and CLEAR "Straight quotes" with "smart quotes"
3. Go to "AutoFormat As You Type" tab and CLEAR "Straight quotes" with
"smart quotes"


I don't know that this will work for you, but it's simple and worth a try.
